Description
A foam shipside fender is a maritime fender that protects ships and docks from damage during docking, mooring, and other vessel manoeuvres. These fenders are made from high-density, closed-cell foam, which allows them to absorb impacts effectively. They are often encased in a durable polyurethane or similar protective coating, making them resilient to harsh marine environments, including saltwater, UV rays, and mechanical abrasion.
Project Specification
It is a repeated order. Client ordered the foam filled fender with D width 150mm, height 95mm, length 3m per piece, straight type.
The material is EVA foam inside, SPUA protection layer outside.
SPUA coating thickness is 4mm, we reinforced the top area of the fender by adding the thickness.

This type of fender is fully customized.
The size could be any size required.
The colour could be black, navy grey, or orange whatever colour number is required.
SPUA coating is anti-sea water, anti-UV, anti-acid, anti-alkaline.
The fender is durable for use, the colour will not fade. It is an ideal cushion for ship and port use.

Packing
We use the film to pack them together.
We will ship the foam fenders to Kuching, Malaysia.
The above packing can not be operated by the port forklift. So we added the pallet legs for the fenders.
The shipment will be transferred from Singapore, the final destination is Kuching, Malaysia. So the pallet leg is not good for protecting our fenders from damage. We need to change the package to the carton.
Even if it adds to the costs, to better serve our clients, we decided to customize the plywood export carton for our clients.
