Overview
Marintec Expo, also called China International Maritime Technology Academic Conference and Exhibition, China International Maritime Conference and Exhibition.
It is a large-scale international conference and exhibition approved by the State Council and founded at the beginning of reform and opening up. Since 1981, it has been held in Shanghai at the end of every year.
China International Maritime Exhibition continues to grow and develop, participating in and witnessing the development process of China’s shipbuilding industry from being backward to becoming a major shipbuilding country in the world and building a powerful shipbuilding country.
As a bridge and link between China and the international maritime community, it is seeking all-round and multi-level cooperation, and it is an important window for the international maritime community to understand China’s shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment, shipping, ports and other industries.
The China International Maritime Exhibition provides a platform for China-foreign maritime technology, economic and trade cooperation, Communication and cooperation in areas such as ship financing, safety insurance, regulations and environmental protection have played a positive role in promoting.
Marintec 2019, China International Maritime Exhibition, attracted a total of 2,200 companies from more than 30 countries and regions, about 2/3 of which were overseas companies. The world’s major industry giants and well-known companies all appeared at this exhibition.
During 2020, 2021 and the year 2022, the expo stopped to host due to the reason of Covid for three years.
2023 is the first year after the epidemic recovers, and it is destined to be a grand exhibition banquet。
From December 5th to 8th, 2023, the 2023 China International Maritime Exhibition （Marintec China 2023) is held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, NOW!
