YT Marine manufactured a custom W rubber fender for a new client in Vietnam.
This project involved one W470 × 350 × 350 mm W rubber fender. The client required a custom size based on their own technical drawing, so our team reviewed the drawing details before confirming the order.
Project Background
The client first sent us their technical drawing for the W rubber fender.
After checking the drawing, we found that some dimensions were different from our standard W fender models. Because of this, the project required a partially customized production arrangement.
After technical review and communication, we confirmed that the fender could be manufactured according to the client’s required dimensions.
Drawing and Size Confirmation
Before production, we checked the fender size, profile and main dimensions with the client.
For customized W rubber fenders, drawing confirmation is very important. It helps both sides confirm the fender shape, width, height, length and installation details before production starts.
After the client confirmed the details, we arranged the production plan according to the approved specification.
Client Collaboration
This was our first cooperation with this Vietnamese client.
During the communication process, the client responded quickly and confirmed the production schedule in time. Their efficient communication helped us arrange the custom fender together with a similar W fender production batch.
The client also completed the payment promptly, which allowed the order to move into production without delay.
Production and Quality Check
Once production started, our team completed the custom W rubber fender within 20 days.
Before shipment, we checked the finished fender and prepared the required factory certification documents for the client.
The fender was manufactured according to the confirmed drawing and project requirements.
Delivery by LCL Sea Freight
After production and inspection, the W rubber fender was packed and shipped by LCL sea freight to the client’s designated port.
LCL shipment was suitable for this order because the quantity was small and the cargo could be arranged together with other shipments.
After receiving the goods, the client was satisfied with the product quality and our service.

W rubber fenders are widely used for tugboats, workboats, docks, shipyards and marine structures.
The W-shaped profile provides strong contact protection and is suitable for areas where vessels may experience repeated impact during berthing or operation.
