Custom Towing Ring for Sling Type Pneumatic Fender

YT Marine manufactured a custom F.C.1 towing ring for a sling type pneumatic fender. The towing ring was made according to the client’s drawing and used at the end of the pneumatic fender, connecting with shackles, swivels, mooring chains or ropes.

YT Marine manufactured a custom F.C.1 towing ring for a sling type pneumatic fender.

For this project, the client sent us the drawing, and we manufactured the towing ring according to their required design and dimensions.

The towing ring is used at the end of a pneumatic fender. It works as an important connection part for hanging or fixing the fender to a port, dock, ship or other marine structure.

During installation, the pneumatic fender can be connected with a mooring chain or mooring rope through the towing ring. Shackles and swivels are usually used between the sling chain or rope and the towing ring, helping the connection stay flexible during berthing and fender movement.
