YT Marine manufactured and shipped 6 pieces of foam ship fenders to Mexico for vessel protection and berthing applications. These fenders were designed as foam-filled fenders with aircraft tire chain nets, providing reliable energy absorption, low reaction force and strong surface protection during ship-to-ship or ship-to-dock contact.

Each foam fender was produced with a closed-cell foam core and covered with a durable SPUA coating. The external aircraft tire chain net helps improve abrasion resistance and protects the fender body from direct wear during operation. This design is commonly used for ports, vessels, offshore projects and heavy-duty marine berthing environments.

Foam-filled ship fenders are part of our marine fender systems for vessel berthing, ship-to-ship contact, dock protection and offshore marine applications.

Project Description

The foam ship fenders were manufactured according to the required size and performance data. With a 110 kg/m³ foam density and 10–12 mm SPUA coating, the fenders provide buoyancy, impact resistance and long-term durability in marine environments.

The orange coating improves visibility during port and vessel operations, while the aircraft tire chain net adds extra protection for demanding berthing conditions. Before shipment, the fenders were checked for surface condition, size, coating quality, chain net assembly and packing condition.

Applications

Foam ship fenders are suitable for:

Ship-to-ship berthing
Ship-to-dock protection
Port and terminal operations
Offshore vessels and workboats
Temporary or permanent marine fendering systems
Projects requiring floating, non-inflatable fenders
