YT Marine manufactured rubber D fenders for a repeat Australian client.
This project included 15 pcs of D200 × 200 × 650 mm D fenders. The fenders were made from natural rubber and used for dock and marine protection applications.
This D fender has a straight-side profile. For this type, the width and height are fixed by the mold, while the length can be produced according to the required specification.
The inner hole can be D-shaped, round or completely solid, depending on the selected mold and installation requirements.
For shipment, the fenders were packed on plywood pallets. Plywood packing is suitable for ocean shipment and helps protect the fenders during handling and transportation.

D Fender Shape and Hole Options
Commonly there are two shapes for D fender. One fender size is included. This type of side is straight.
The width and the height are the exact sizes.
The hole could be D-shaped or round shape, or completely solid.
Packing for Ocean Shipment
We always use pallets for our fender. This is easy for ocean shipment.
The pallet will be made of poly-wood material otherwise it can not be shipped.
Mold Size and Custom Options
For molded D fenders, the width and height usually depend on the existing mold. The length, hole type and drilling details can be reviewed according to the project requirements.
