YT Marine completed a repeat order for an established client in El Salvador, supplying 8 pcs of SUC500H cell fenders and 8 pcs of custom 250 × 250 × 4000L mm square rubber fenders.
This order followed our previous large-scale cooperation with the same client, during which we manufactured 166 SUC500H cell fenders and 568 custom square rubber fenders. The new order demonstrates the client’s continued confidence in our rubber fender quality, dimensional consistency, production reliability and international shipment support.
The 16 rubber fenders were inspected and securely packed in two shipping units with a combined gross weight of 3,550 kg.
Project Overview
The repeat order included two types of fixed marine rubber fenders:
- 8 pcs SUC500H cell rubber fenders
- 8 pcs custom square rubber fenders
- Square fender dimensions: 250 × 250 × 4000L mm
- Total quantity: 16 pcs
- Total gross weight: 3,550 kg
- Packing: One pallet and one metal frame
The products were manufactured according to the specifications previously confirmed with the client. Because the technical details and production requirements had already been established during the initial project, the repeat-order process could be arranged efficiently while maintaining the same inspection and quality-control procedures.
This shipment forms part of our ongoing cooperation with the El Salvador client and follows the successful completion of the previous custom square rubber fender and SUC500H cell fender project.
A Repeat Order Following Successful Initial Cooperation
Our first cooperation with this client was a significantly larger marine fender project involving 568 custom square rubber fenders and 166 SUC500H cell fenders.
During the initial project, our team reviewed the client’s drawings, confirmed the rubber fender dimensions and performance requirements, modified the square fender mold and organized production and shipment in several batches.
After the first order was successfully manufactured and delivered, the client returned with this additional requirement for the same two rubber fender types.
For marine projects, a repeat order is particularly meaningful because fender dimensions, rubber performance, installation compatibility and production consistency all affect the reliability of the completed fender system. The client’s decision to continue purchasing the same products reflects the stable cooperation established during the first project.
Products Included in the Repeat Order
SUC500H Cell Rubber Fenders
The order included 8 pcs of SUC500H cell fenders.
Cell fenders are commonly used as fixed berthing protection systems for ports, terminals, quay walls and other marine structures. Their cell-shaped rubber body is designed to absorb vessel berthing energy while maintaining a controlled reaction force.
Depending on the berth design, a cell fender may be installed as an individual rubber unit or combined with a steel frontal panel, UHMWPE facing pads, chains, anchor bolts and related mounting accessories.
The appropriate fender model should be selected according to factors such as:
- Vessel size and displacement
- Berthing energy
- Allowable reaction force
- Quay wall or berth structure
- Available installation space
- Fender panel dimensions
- Environmental and operating conditions

Custom 250 × 250 × 4000L mm Square Rubber Fenders
The second part of the repeat order consisted of 8 custom square rubber fenders with dimensions of 250 × 250 × 4000L mm.
Square rubber fenders have a simple, robust profile and a flat mounting surface. They can be used for dock edges, quay walls, workboats, pontoons, vessels and other marine protection areas where durable rubber cushioning is required.
The 4,000 mm length makes careful dimensional control, handling and packing particularly important. The square fenders were manufactured according to the previously approved specification to maintain consistency with the units supplied under the original order.
Square rubber fenders can be produced with different:
- External profile dimensions
- Overall lengths
- Inner hole shapes
- Mounting hole arrangements
- Rubber hardness requirements
- End configurations
- UHMWPE pad options
Available inner structures may include round holes, square holes, D-shaped holes or project-specific designs, depending on the mold and installation requirements.
More information about available sizes and customization options can be found on our square rubber fender product page.

Production and Quality Inspection
Although this was a repeat order, the products were still checked before packing and shipment.
Our inspection process for marine rubber fenders may include:
- Product model and quantity confirmation
- Main dimension checking
- Overall length inspection
- Rubber surface inspection
- Mounting area inspection
- Product marking confirmation
- Packing condition inspection
- Final quantity verification
For repeat orders, consistency with previously approved products is also important. Our team reviewed the production specifications and arranged the new units based on the technical requirements established during the original project.
The completed SUC500H cell fenders and square rubber fenders were checked before being transferred to the packing area.
Packing Arrangement for the Rubber Fenders
Because the order contained both compact molded cell fenders and four-meter-long square fenders, two different packing methods were used.
Pallet Packing
One part of the order was packed on a pallet with the following dimensions:
- Packing size: 1.3 × 0.65 × 2.15 m
- Quantity: 1 pallet
The products were arranged securely to reduce movement during warehouse handling, inland transportation and international shipment.
Metal Frame Packing
The 4,000 mm long square rubber fenders were packed in a metal frame.
- Packing size: 4.05 × 0.6 × 1.2 m
- Quantity: 1 metal frame
The metal frame provided structural support for the long rubber fenders and helped keep the products organized during lifting and transportation.
Final Shipment Data
The final packing information was:
- Total packages: 2
- Packing method: 1 pallet and 1 metal frame
- Pallet dimensions: 1.3 × 0.65 × 2.15 m
- Metal frame dimensions: 4.05 × 0.6 × 1.2 m
- Total gross weight: 3,550 kg
The packing arrangement was selected according to the different shapes and lengths of the two fender types. Proper export packing helps protect the products, supports safer handling and makes it easier for the receiving party to identify and manage the shipment.

Why Cell and Square Fenders May Be Used in the Same Marine Project
Different areas of a berth, dock or marine structure may have different impact conditions and installation requirements.
Cell fenders are generally selected for berthing positions where calculated energy absorption and reaction force performance are important. They can also be combined with frontal panels to create a larger vessel contact area.
Square rubber fenders are often used where a simple, durable rubber profile is needed for direct protection, secondary contact areas, dock edges or other fixed structures.
Using more than one fender type allows the marine protection arrangement to be matched to different structural and operational conditions. However, the final fender selection should always be based on the berth design, vessel information, installation layout and engineering requirements.

Project Outcome
This order was completed as a continuation of our earlier cooperation with the same El Salvador client.
Compared with the original large-scale order, the new requirement involved a smaller quantity. However, the same attention was given to specification confirmation, manufacturing consistency, final inspection and export packing.
The project highlights several important aspects of our marine fender manufacturing service:
- Reliable support for repeat orders
- Consistent production based on previously approved specifications
- Manufacturing of both standard and custom rubber fenders
- Practical packing for products with different sizes and shapes
- Experience with international marine project deliveries
- Long-term support for port, dock and berth protection requirements
We value repeat business because it represents more than a single successful shipment. It reflects continued communication, stable product quality and confidence developed through actual project cooperation.
