For this Argentina project, YT Marine manufactured 300 pcs of green anti-slip FRP grating panels for a long-term client. The grating is used on fishing and shrimp boats, where deck flooring is regularly exposed to seawater, water, fish residue and other wet working conditions.

Green Grit-Top Surface for Wet Boat Decks
The top surface of the grating was finished with sand particles to create a rough grit-top anti-slip layer. This surface is especially useful for fishing and shrimp boats, where working decks can become wet from seawater, rain, fish handling and daily cleaning.
The open mesh structure also allows water and small debris to pass through the panel. This helps reduce standing water on the deck and makes routine cleaning more practical.

25 mm FRP Grating Panels for Marine Deck Flooring
This order used 25 mm thick panels with a 38 × 38 mm mesh and 6.4 mm bar thickness. Each green panel measured 1000 × 2000 mm.
FRP grating is lightweight compared with steel flooring and does not rust in the same way as carbon steel. For fishing and shrimp vessel decks, the combination of corrosion resistance, drainage and grit-top surface makes it a practical flooring option.

Packing Preparation for Argentina Shipment
After final inspection, the green grit-top FRP grating panels were stacked, protected with stretch film and secured in packing frames for shipment to Argentina. This packing arrangement helps keep the panels stable and protected during international transport.
