YT Marine manufactured 16 mm studless anchor chains for an Australian client.

This project was ordered together with D-type rubber fenders. The anchor chains and rubber fenders were prepared for ship use according to the client’s project requirements.

Anchor Chain Specification

The anchor chain diameter was 16 mm. The chain type was studless link anchor chain, and the surface treatment was hot-dip galvanization for corrosion protection in marine environments.

Certificate and Surface Treatment

Mill certificates were provided for this order according to the client’s requirement.

The hot-dip galvanized surface helps improve corrosion resistance and makes the chains more suitable for marine and ship applications.

Chain Grade Options

Our factory can manufacture anchor chains in different sizes and grades for ship and marine applications.

For anchor chain grades, we can manufacture Grade 2 and Grade 3 anchor chains. The maximum anchor chain diameter can be close to 60 mm, depending on the required chain type, grade and certificate.

Classification society certificates such as CCS, LR, DNV and ABS can also be provided when required.
